MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Tolkien Untangled is the channel of Rainbow Dave, a former tie-dye instructor at a summer camp, who set out to explain Tolkien's legendarium in an accessible way. He goes through the history of Middle-earth in order, from the very beginning, using The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and The History of Middle-earth as well as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
His videos are long and colourful, and come in series: he is currently telling the Tale of Gondolin in twenty parts. Good for newcomers who find The Silmarillion hard to get into.
Rainbow Dave tells the whole history of Middle-earth in order, from The Silmarillion onwards, in a clear and fun way.
