MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Exploring Tolkien is the podcast of TheOneRing.com, the literary Tolkien community founded in April 1999. Hosted by Jonathan Watson and Michael Grumbine, who first worked together on a Lord of the Rings read-through podcast from 2020 to 2022, it started in May 2022 under the name Window on the West.
Every other week, the two hosts read The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and the other tales of Middle-earth chapter by chapter, with conversations with artists, creators and scholars along the way. More than 170 episodes are out, currently going through The Children of Húrin, and every episode is also on YouTube.
