MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Jess of the Shire is one of the most followed Tolkien channels on YouTube, with a new video every Friday and more than 240,000 subscribers since its first video in March 2022. Jess talks about the art of storytelling through Tolkien first, and other authors next: how reincarnation works in Tolkien's world, what his Letters tell us, how the Gandalf of the books differs from the one of the films, or a tour of the places of Middle-earth such as Rivendell and Moria.
She also wanders to Discworld, Excalibur or the history of worldbuilding, and always comes back to the Shire. Calm, well read and good humoured.
Weekly videos on the art of storytelling, through Tolkien's books first and other fantasy authors next.
