MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Tecendil is the Tengwar transcriber most fans use: type a text, pick the language you are writing in, English, Quenya, Sindarin or others, and see it written in Tolkien's Elvish letters, in fonts such as Tengwar Annatar, Eldamar or Telcontar. It is a transcriber, not a translator: the words stay in your language, only the script changes, and its rules are built on the Eldamo lexicon.
Made by Arno Gourdol and online since at least 2017, it was rebuilt in 2019 with a mobile version and apps for iOS and Android. Its Tengwar Handbook explains the modes if you want to understand what you are writing. The one to open before a tattoo or an inscription.
