MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
The Hobbit is an action-adventure game published by Sierra Entertainment in 2003. Inevitable Entertainment developed the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions, with separate versions for PC and Game Boy Advance.
Based on Tolkien's novel and not on the films, it follows the book closely. Players control Bilbo Baggins from Bag End to the Lonely Mountain, fighting with his walking stick, throwing stones and later wielding Sting, while the Ring lets him sneak past enemies unseen. Each level is built around quests mixing platforming, combat and puzzles, from the trolls' camp and the goblin tunnels of the Misty Mountains to Mirkwood, Lake-town and Smaug's lair.
Play as Bilbo Baggins and follow Thorin's company from Bag End to the Lonely Mountain in this adaptation of Tolkien's novel.
