MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Journeys of Frodo: An Atlas of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is the work of Barbara Strachey, a British writer. It traces, stage by stage, the routes followed by Frodo and the other members of the Fellowship.
The atlas has 51 maps drawn in two colours, black for the land and red for the contour lines and the routes, each with a summary of the matching part of the story on the facing page, so the reader can follow the journey day by day. It was first published in 1981 by George Allen & Unwin, in a landscape format, and was reissued by HarperCollins in the nineteen nineties.
An atlas of 51 maps that follows Frodo and the Fellowship stage by stage, from the Shire to Mount Doom and back.
