MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Le Dragon de Brume is a French non-profit association of authors and contributors, created in October 2010 after more than ten years of Tolkien pages on the web, to publish printed collections of essays on Middle-earth. Its Études tolkieniennes series has gathered studies since 2011 on subjects such as the stars, flowers, places, maps and locations of Tolkien's world, and two volumes of selected essays were translated into English in 2023 and 2024.
It also maintains a free bibliography of Tolkien studies in French and English, regularly updated, with a fifth edition in spring 2026. Its content is in French.
