MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Lego The Lord of the Rings (2012) is a Lego-themed action-adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Windows, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Vita, with an OS X version following in 2013.
It retells the whole Peter Jackson trilogy, from The Fellowship of the Ring to The Return of the King, using the music and the actual voice recordings of the films, with plenty of Lego humour along the way. Between the story levels, players can freely explore a large open Middle-earth, from the Shire to Mordor, and unlock more than 80 characters, including Tom Bombadil, who never appeared in the movies.
Frodo, Sam, Gandalf and the rest of the Fellowship are rebuilt brick by brick in this Lego retelling of the film trilogy, from the Shire all the way to Mount Doom.
