MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
Shire Reckoning is Paul Sarando's calendar of the Shire, of Gondor and of Rivendell as Tolkien describes them in Appendix D of The Lord of the Rings, laid out next to today's date. It shows the hobbit months and weekdays, the Lithedays and Yuledays, the reckonings of Gondor and the six seasons of the Elvish year, with settings to decide how to line them up with our calendar.
Started in September 2014 and still updated, it comes with long notes on the rules of each calendar, on the leap days and on the day the Elvish new year fell at the end of the Third Age, and with a library for developers who want Shire dates in their own apps.
