MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest (2010) is an action-adventure game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, developed by Headstrong Games for the Wii and by TT Fusion for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP and Nintendo DS. It was the first Lord of the Rings game released by WB Games after they took over the film licence from Electronic Arts.
Fifteen years after the War of the Ring, Samwise Gamgee, voiced by Sean Astin, tells his children the adventures of Aragorn while the Shire prepares for the King's visit. Players relive the three films as Aragorn, sword in hand, and play as Sam's son Frodo in the Shire between chapters. Aimed at younger players, it is a simpler and gentler retelling of the trilogy, with a second player able to join as Gandalf.
Sam tells his children the story of Aragorn, the Ranger who became King, in this family-friendly retelling of the film trilogy.
