MIDDLE-EARTH TIMELINE
The Portail Terre du Milieu is the entry point to the French Wikipédia's articles on Tolkien's world, opened in June 2006. It links more than six hundred articles on the books, characters, places, peoples and languages, and marks out the best of them: fourteen articles de qualité, the French label for featured articles, on subjects such as the Ainulindalë, Tom Bombadil, Galadriel, Gollum, The Hobbit, Quenya and Sindarin, and thirty-three bons articles. Its content is in French.
Each article cites its sources line by line, so it is a sound companion to the English wikis for French readers, and the quickest way to find the French name of a place or a character.
